Trifecta’s Smite Community Night
Community - a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.
Streaming is the trend these days. eSport athletes have mastered their craft, grown their audience, and constantly find themselves on the front page of Twitch. No matter how hard prominent channels try (and they do) it’s easy to lose track of the chat and focus on creating good content to keep them around.
And that’s where we realized something. Communities have lost that true feeling of fellowship.
On January 18, 2019, we put on an event to bring our community together. Trifecta’s first Community Game Night hosted by our very own streamers Wraithyn and SavvySquints. It was an amazing night where we put competitive play aside and focused on you, the community.
The theme was simple; stream together, get in lobbies with the viewers, and give away some in-game currency. With our channels seeing a growth of about 50% and giving away upwards of $100 worth of gems per stream, its safe to say that the community showed up that night. Wraithyn said this about the night, “the support for all of us was unreal and it validated that we are on the right track to providing fun, unique, and interactive content that players of all skill levels and game modes can enjoy.”
And he’s right, we aim to be a community that lives up to that term. So, the next time you see one of our streamers online, hop in their chat and join the Trifecta community.
